Our staff undergoes training to ensure currency in their respective fields. They also attend seminars that are pertinent to the industry, whether in Western Australia, inter state or overseas.

Sue-anne Roberts

Sue-anne Roberts is our Business and Training Manager and has over 20 years experience in the aviation industry as a Chief Pilot, Chief Flying Instructor and Facilitator. In addition to her knowledge and experience in aviation, she has also chaired boards and committees pertinent to the aviation, training and transport industry. Sue-anne speaks at conferences and seminars on various related topics. She is a key facilitator in Safety Management Systems, Dangerous Goods and Crew Resource Management. Sue-anne is also our Manual Development specialist. In these roles, she works throughout Australia facilitating courses and training for various organisations, working with them to develop their own unique systems and as required, company specific training. Sue-anne is the CASA approved Dangerous Goods Training Manager for the Civil Aviation Academy.

Philip (Phil) Roberts has been involved in the Aviation Industry for over 40 years, recently retiring from Singapore Airlines as an approved Crew Resource Management (CRM) Facilitator and Supervisory Captain on the Airbus A-310 Fleet. He brings to the Civil Aviation Academy experience from Australian, European and Asian Airlines. He has also held training, checking and simulator endorsement approvals on the Learjet 31 with Singapore Flying College and holds FOKKER 100 simulator instruction approvals. Involved with Human Factors, CRM and associated subjects since the 1980s, Phil is a facilitator of CRM for the Civil Aviation Academy.
