Dangerous Goods Acceptance & Shippers Course

A Dangerous Goods Acceptance and Shippers Course should be completed by anyone who accepts or supervises persons accepting dangerous goods for an operator or freight forwarder.

After completion of the initial three (3) day course the Civil Aviation Academy will advise you when your currency is due and provide you with the one day refresher course. This is required every two (2) years.

Our CASA approved Dangerous Goods By Air Acceptance and Shippers Course follows all the pertinent guidelines and regulations set out by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). This course can only be conducted in house over three (3) days; a correspondence format is not available as per the requirements of the CASA. Courses are currently scheduled at locations throughout Australia or you can talk to us about training at a location suitable to you.
