Dangerous Goods Refresher Course
A Dangerous Goods Refresher Course should be completed by anyone who accepts or supervises persons accepting dangerous goods for an operator or freight forwarder.
After completion of the initial three (3) day course (required for initial issue of the approval) the Refresher Course can be undertaken in order to maintain currency of this approval. This is required every two (2) years. Please ensure the Refresher Course is undertaken prior to the expiry of your current approval. If this is not completed you will be required to complete the full three (3) day course again to regain your approval.
Our CASA approved Dangerous Goods By Air Refresher Course follows all the pertinent guidelines and regulations set out by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the International Air Transport Authority (IATA) and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). This course is conducted in house only and cannot be undertaken in correspondence format as per the guidelines of the CASA. Courses are currently scheduled at locations throughout Australia or you can talk to us about training at a location suitable to you.
Duration & Costs
Duration: 1 day (0900 to 1600)
One Day Tutorial
The cost of the one day tutorial is $225.00 per person (inc. GST). This includes:
- All course material;
- Comprehensive full colour workbook;
- Morning tea and lunch are provided as part of the day;
- Certificate of approval upon completion of the course;
- Updates and changes to IATA Dangerous Goods regulations;
- Notification for renewal approx. 3 months prior to expiry of the certificate.
Review questions are completed during the course and assessed by the facilitator with approvals issued on the same day as appropriate.
