Auditing and Evaluating Course
This course is designed for Safety Managers/Officers or those personnel who will play a major role in the auditing and evaluation of any section or whole of the organisation’s Safety Management System. It will also assist those who conduct any form of audit or evaluation process within their workplace.
All effective (and not to mention CASA compliant) Safety Management Systems will require not only an initial evaluation and audit but the system must include a well documented ongoing auditing and evaluation process. With the introduction of the new Regulations by CASA each operator will be required to complete and submit a 'gap analysis' of where their SMS stands and their plans for its implementation and integration into the organisation (including a timeline). With the right tools and templates this process is not complicated to establish or conduct.
This Civil Aviation Academy’s Audit and Evaluation Course will show participants how to undertake such tasks and supply them with the templates and tools specifically designed so that they can easily customise them to their own operation - vital in any SMS. Over the two (2) day course participants will review your organisation's SMS development (if any to date) and various other examples, evaluating its progress and content - putting into place the vital checks and balances to ensure a constantly evolving and pliable Safety Management System is established and maintained.
